FedEx, the largest express carrier in the world, with $30 billion in sales, was encumbered with a classroom training environment that was both expensive and difficult to manage. The answer was an easy to use Learning Management System capable of providing ecommerce functionality to support the training of their customers.
After looking at several vendors, FedEx chose Ziiva Prosperity because it was more user friendly and the most competitive in the market. Scott Kerr, FedEx's point man on the project, stated, “there was little doubt which direction we would go once we saw how easy the software was to use.”
FedEx wanted to minimize the effort required to rollout the system, so Ziiva quickly configured Prosperity to fit their needs and delivered a fully operational system. “We literally started using Prosperity on day one,” Mr. Kerr remarked. After launching Prosperity in the fall of 2004 FedEx realized a six-week return on investment.
